Two CSV files, regenerated every day. You can use them in your own analysis; please cite Maplesprint and the Atlassian Marketplace as the source.
- connect-apps.csv: the 927 Jira and Confluence apps flagged Connect today.
- catalog.csv: all 6,596 Jira and Confluence cloud apps, with the platform flag (Connect, Forge or Not Connect).
Columns: data_date, key, name, vendor, products, platform, last_release, installs, rating, reviews, categories, marketplace_url. The history of daily Connect counts is the chart above.
How we count
- Source. The public Atlassian Marketplace API, read once a day by an automated job. The page shows data from 2026-10-20.
- Scope. Cloud apps listed for Jira or Confluence. Apps for other products, such as Bitbucket, are not counted. An app that works with both Jira and Confluence is counted once.
- What counts as Connect. The Marketplace flag for the latest cloud version of the app: it is either Connect or Forge, never both. For apps with 100 or more installations, we re-read each listing individually, because the list endpoint can lag on release dates; only those apps are confirmed as Forge in the CSV, and the rest of the non-Connect apps show as Not Connect.
- Hybrid apps. Migrations are incremental, so a Forge app can still ship some Connect modules, and Atlassian's admin banner may still show for it. The public API does not expose that detail, so those apps are counted as Forge here. For module-level progress, see forge-apps.com.
- Installations. The installation count shown on each listing. Installations are summed per app, so an organization that runs ten apps counts ten times.
- No release in 12 months. The latest cloud version in the listing is dated more than 365 days before the data date.
- Limits. Counts can lag the live Marketplace by up to a day, and installation numbers on listings change continuously. Private and custom apps are not in the Marketplace and are not counted.
