Terms and support: Maplesprint Notify

These are the provider-specific terms for Maplesprint Notify: Jira to Google Chat (the "app"), provided by Maplesprint, Ontario, Canada ("we"). They apply together with the end-user agreement for Atlassian Marketplace apps that Atlassian shows on the app's Marketplace listing. If the two conflict, these terms prevail for the points they cover.
What the app does
The app sends notifications about changes in Jira to Google Chat spaces that your administrators connect with incoming webhooks. See the product page for the features and the privacy policy for the data involved.
Your responsibilities
- Connect only Google Chat spaces whose members may see the information in the messages.
- Keep webhook URLs private. Anyone who has a webhook URL can post to that space. If a URL leaks, delete the webhook in Google Chat and add a new one.
- Make sure your use of Google Chat and Jira complies with your agreements with Google and Atlassian, and with your own policies.
Limits you should know
- The app depends on services we do not control. Jira can deliver events with a delay of up to a few minutes, and Google Chat limits how many messages a space accepts per second. Delivery is not guaranteed and is not suitable as the only alert for emergencies or safety-critical situations.
- If Google Chat or Atlassian are unavailable, messages can be delayed or lost. The delivery log shows what the app attempted.
- Incoming webhooks cannot mention individual people. Messages can mention everyone in a space when a rule turns that on.
- Changes to the same issue within a few seconds are combined into one message, and large bulk changes are summarized, by design.
Support
Write to support@maplesprint.com with your Jira site address and a description of the problem; screenshots of the delivery log help. We aim to reply within two business days (Monday to Friday, Eastern Time) and to fix confirmed defects as soon as we reasonably can. Support is provided in English. We do not offer support for Jira or Google Chat themselves.
Pricing and trial
Pricing, free tiers and trials are those shown on the app's Atlassian Marketplace listing, and billing is handled by Atlassian. We may change prices for future billing periods as the Marketplace allows.
Warranty and liability
The app is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we do not make any warranty other than those that cannot be excluded, and our total liability for claims related to the app is limited as set out in the Marketplace end-user agreement.

Atlassian, Jira and Forge are trademarks of Atlassian. Google and Google Chat are trademarks of Google LLC. Maplesprint Notify is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Atlassian or Google.
Governing law
Unless the Marketplace end-user agreement says otherwise, these terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
Changes
We may update these terms for new versions of the app. The date above shows the latest revision.
